I grew up to the sound of clicking tiles and my mother’s laughter. Long before I understood the rules, mahjong was simply the soundtrack of my childhood — her and her friends gathered around the table, tiles clicking in rhythm, the room full of conversation and connection. I didn’t know it then, but that sound would shape the rest of my life.

Mahjong carries real history — the game has been bringing people together for over a hundred years — and that history matters to me as much as the gameplay itself. I’ve spent decades teaching this game, and I’ve never once grown tired of it, because every class is a chance to share something I genuinely love: the rhythm of the tiles, the beauty of the strategy, and the simple joy of watching strangers become friends over a shared table.

That’s why I do what I do. Not just to teach a game, but to pass on a memory — one class at a time.

Our Approach

We built our signature 4-class model to give every student real depth, not just the rules.
